Other News:Community Website (Llangynog online): John Wilson of Dol Eglwys would like to thank those who have submitted potential content or suggestions but would still like to hear from anyone else who might have something to submit. Possible content he has in mind: Facilities – News – Tourist Accommodation – Local Businesses – Village History – etc. The site will be bi-lingual, so help with translation would be very welcome. Weigh Hey – Slimmer of the Month: The Slimmer of the Month for October is: Maureen Morris
Can You Help?: Due to Alison’s very busy work schedule, we are seeking help with the Welsh translation for the Newsletter. Please ring Trevor Foster on 860413, if you can help. Until someone comes forward it will not be possible to produce a Welsh Edition.
Thank You: Carol Jones and the organisers of the Charity Lunch held on 17th November, would like to thank all those who supported the event, which raised the magnificent sum of £613 towards the cost of a defibrillator.
Christmas Quiz: A Christmas Quiz in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance will be held in the Tanat Valley Pub on Sunday 8th December at 7.30pm. £10 per team of 4. All welcome

Weigh Hey Slimmer’s Club:Meets every Thursday at 5.30pm in the Library of the Memorial Hall.
The Post Office is open in the Memorial Hall every Monday and Thursday 9am-2pm.
Come and enjoy our Contact Club: Every Monday from 11am-2pm in the Memorial Hall. Open to anyone of any age. We have a variety of activities every week (see What’s On). Lunch is provided. If getting to the Club is a problem we do have volunteer drivers, who would be more than happy to collect you from your home. Please call Jennie Eilbeck on 860312 or Carol Jones on 860230.
