Green closing & indoor bowling:

Following end of season work done on the green, the green is now closed to allow seeds a chance to root.

HOWEVER the indoor bowling season will start on Tuesday 2nd Oct at 7.30. in the Community Hall. Come along and give it a go!

The Oswestry Bowling League are running a triples competition called the Corwen Shield on Sunday 23 Sept. Entry is £10 per team, it is a handicap competition and all proceeds collected will go to Charity. See the notice on the club notice board for more information.
Saturday Handicap Competition:

Despite changeable weather 17 members took part in this trial event.
Lots of competitive games to enjoy and good food to keep things going.

JOHN (BLOCKER) JONES came out as the inaugural Champion.

Duck Race:

Foul weather throughout the day did not prevent our dedicated members successfully running the event.

581 tickets were sold thanks to concerted efforts by all members. 300 tickets sold by team members, which means 281 extras were sold by a numbers of members who sold extra tickets.
A great effort again.

£100 pound in prizes were paid out. This means £481 will be paid into club accounts this week.
