Looking for Volunteers for shopping, friendly phone calls etc.

Further to Llangynog Community Council Meeting last night (17th March 2020), the Community Council would like to reassure you that they will do all they can during these uncertain times.

To help us do this we are looking for volunteers. Volunteers that can help with picking-up shopping, posting mail, making a friendly phone call or arranging urgent supplies. And this will include initially dropping-off leaflets to houses near to you offering the above services.

If you are self-isolating you will obviously not able to go out and pick-up shopping but you may be able to help the volunteers described above by making friendly calls to someone who would like human contact.

If you can help in anyway, please can you let me know so we can start working out who can help which areas of Llangynog (and back-up for if any volunteers have to self-isolate…). We have already had some approach us with kind offers – thank you and I will be in touch.

If in the meantime, you are someone needing help of some sort, prior to the leaflet drop – then please do not hesitate to let me know.
