Llangynog Women's Institute

We are a friendly group of women proud to be part of such a warm and welcoming community. Indeed, our membership, with its wide and varied range of interests, reflects the richness of life in our village. Llangynog W.I. has played an important part in our village since 1938... more than 80 years of continued commitment to the community!

Today, our W.I. still supports and takes part in village events, and at our monthly meetings we enjoy a wide and varied programme of speakers and activities. We also organise W.I. Shows and Open Evenings, offering ample opportunity for members to take part in dance, song and drama should they wish. We regularly visit places of interest and attend Federation and craft events, as well as enjoying trips to the theatre and meals out.

Llangynog W.I. always welcomes new members, of any age, so please just come along and try us out!
